Te mapa
Cangandala is a municipality in Malanje province in northern Angola, located on the high savanna plateau southeast of the city of Malanje. From above, the town is compact, with a handful of streets around its centre and roads radiating out into open, lightly wooded country. Most of the surrounding land is rural, marked by tracks, fields and watercourses.
The name is widely known in connection with Cangandala National Park, one of Angola's smallest national parks and a refuge for the giant sable antelope, the palanca negra gigante, a national symbol. The park lies to the south of the town and gives the area a significance well beyond its size.
A Cangandala map poster is necessarily spare: a small cluster of streets, a few long roads and a great deal of open space. That emptiness is part of its character. For people from Malanje, or those who care about the palanca negra, it is a quiet and meaningful image.
The town's streets gather in a small, tight cluster, clearly defined against the surrounding plateau and easy to read at any print size.
A few principal routes lead away toward Malanje and the countryside, drawing long, simple lines across the otherwise open map.
Around the town, faint tracks and streams cross a landscape of grassland and woodland, giving the poster a light, airy texture.

Koteā ko Cangandala
A map of Cangandala marks a place that rarely appears in print, which makes it personal to those who know it. It can honour a family origin or a connection to Angola's conservation story.
