Te mapa
Chapadão do Sul lies in the north-east of Mato Grosso do Sul, on the flat upland known as a chapada that gives the town its name. It is a young municipality, established in the late twentieth century, and its street plan shows it: broad avenues, regular blocks and green strips laid out on a clear grid, with little of the irregular growth seen in older Brazilian towns.
The surrounding land is some of the most productive farmland in the region. Large, geometric fields of soybeans, cotton and maize stretch across the plateau, and the town grew as a service and logistics hub for this agricultural economy. Many of its early residents came from southern Brazil, bringing the farming practices that shaped the landscape.
A Chapadão do Sul map poster turns that order into a striking graphic. The urban grid reads as a crisp block of parallel lines, and the straight rural roads and field boundaries around it extend the pattern outward, creating a composition that is precise and spacious, very different from a winding colonial centre.
The town was laid out on a regular plan, and its long straight avenues and uniform blocks create one of the cleanest street patterns a poster can show.
Chapadão do Sul sits on a broad, level tableland, so there is little relief breaking the plan, only the steady rhythm of streets, avenues and roads.
Beyond the edge of town, straight rural roads divide vast soybean and cotton fields, extending the grid into the countryside in faint rectangular lines.

Koteā ko Chapadão do Sul
People who helped build Chapadão do Sul, or grew up in its early streets, often feel a strong attachment to its orderly shape. The map suits a farm office, a family living room or a gift for someone who moved away from the plateau for study or work.
Write your own title and subtitle, add a founding year or family date, and set the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download 300 DPI files for $9 or order a printed poster on matte paper.
