Te mapa
Charneca de Caparica lies in the municipality of Almada, on the south side of the Tagus estuary. Its map is unusual for a place so close to a capital: rather than a dense grid, the streets loop and branch through stretches of pine woodland, with houses spread along lanes that follow old property lines and the gentle rise and fall of the plateau.
To the west the land ends abruptly at the Arriba Fóssil da Costa da Caparica, a protected line of ancient cliffs that drops toward the long sandy coast. On a poster this edge is striking: the tangle of residential roads stops, a band of empty ground takes over, and beyond it the shoreline runs almost straight for kilometres.
A Charneca de Caparica map poster shows a suburb that still feels half rural in plan. The open patches of woodland and farmland between neighbourhoods leave plenty of white space, so the print looks light and airy, especially in the Paper or Sand styles. It suits anyone who has lived here, or who spent summers on the beaches just below the cliffs.
The Arriba Fóssil forms a sharp natural boundary on the western side, separating the plateau's streets from the coastal strip and giving the map a clear, dramatic edge.
Instead of regular blocks, the roads meander through wooded plots, creating an irregular, organic web that looks almost hand-drawn when rendered in fine black lines.
Beyond the cliffs, the long, gently curving Caparica coast runs north to south, a single clean line that balances the busier pattern of the inland neighbourhoods.

Koteā ko Charneca de Caparica
Many people know Charneca through its beaches, commutes across the river to Lisbon, or a family house among the pines. A print of its streets is a personal reminder of that mix of coast, woodland and suburb, and it sits well in a light, calm room.
Set the title and subtitle to anything you like, perhaps a street name or the year you moved in, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Blueprint, and download HD files for $9 or order a print.
