Te mapa
Chon Daen is a district town in the western part of Phetchabun province, where the land opens out toward the flatter country of Thailand's central plain. From above, the town reads as a small, fairly dense core of streets. Around it, a much wider pattern of field boundaries, farm tracks and scattered settlements takes over within a short distance of the centre.
The town grew up as a local centre for the surrounding countryside, and its layout on the map reflects that. A few through roads carry most of the traffic and meet near the middle of town, where buildings sit closest together. Side lanes branch off at modest intervals, and the built edge breaks up into houses strung along the roads that lead out to villages and cultivated land.
A Chon Daen map poster works mainly through contrast. The tight cluster of lines at the centre stands against the sparse, open geometry of the fields around it. Rendered in black and white, the town looks like a small knot where several long roads meet. Many towns in agricultural Thailand share that structure, but Chon Daen's version has its own proportions and angles.
The town's shape is organised around a few main roads that pass through and meet near the centre. These strong lines anchor the composition, and the finer local streets fill the spaces between them.
The densest part of the map is a small cluster of short streets and closely packed blocks. It is where the district's shops, offices and daily services are gathered, and the edges are easy to see.
Beyond the built-up area, the map turns into long straight tracks and open ground divided by the lines of cultivated land. That quiet outer field frames the town and gives the poster its sense of scale.

Koteā ko Chon Daen
People who hang a map of Chon Daen usually have a personal reason: a family home, years spent working in the district, or a connection to Phetchabun they want to keep in view. A small town is easy to take in at a glance, so the street pattern stays recognisable on the wall.
Each poster can be personalised with your own title, a subtitle such as a meaningful date, and the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. You can download HD files for $9 in six print sizes or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame, from partners in over 30 countries.
