Te mapa
Khlong Sam Wa is a district on the northeastern edge of Bangkok, in an area that until recently was mostly rice fields and orchards crossed by irrigation canals. The canals are still the main feature of the map. They run in long, parallel lines across the flat land, and many roads follow alongside them, dividing the district into narrow strips.
Over recent decades the district has become more suburban. Housing estates, schools and small markets have been built between the canals, while some open land remains, especially farther from the main roads. The district is also home to Safari World, a large zoo and wildlife park that draws visitors from across the city.
A Khlong Sam Wa map poster shows Bangkok on its outer edge, not the city centre. Straight canals, long residential streets that end in cul-de-sacs, and the remaining farmland together form a pattern close to a geometric design. It is a thoughtful choice for anyone whose Bangkok is out here among the canals instead of downtown.
Long irrigation canals cross the district in straight, parallel lines. They are a reminder of the rice-growing plain that existed before the suburbs arrived.
Planned estates fill the strips between canals. Their closed street loops show up clearly against the long main roads.
Areas of remaining farmland and open ground break up the built-up districts. On the poster they form calm blank spaces.

Koteā ko Khlong Sam Wa
Many people in Bangkok live in districts like Khlong Sam Wa, not in the famous centre. A map of these canals and estates is for them: a familiar landscape that is rarely shown on a wall.
You can add a title, a subtitle such as a moving-in date, and a coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The long canal lines look especially sharp in Blueprint.
