Te mapa
Compostela sits on the eastern coast of Cebu, north of the metropolitan area that spreads out from Cebu City. From above, the town reads as a narrow band: a shoreline road threading between the water and rising ground, with barangays spaced along it and smaller lanes climbing inland toward the island's hilly spine.
The map is shaped by two directions at once. Toward the east, the coastline and the open Camotes Sea give the composition a clean edge. Toward the west, the street pattern thins and loosens as it follows valleys and farm tracks into the uplands. A Compostela map poster captures that contrast between a settled seaboard and a quieter interior.
In black and white, the town becomes a study in density. The poblacion gathers its streets into a compact knot near the coast, while outlying roads trail off in long single lines. It is a modest place on the map, but the relationship between sea, road and slope gives it a clear, legible character that suits a minimalist print.
The coast forms the poster's strongest edge, a long line where land gives way to the Camotes Sea, rendered as open space that balances the denser streets inland.
A main road runs parallel to the shore, linking Compostela with neighbouring towns to the north and south and acting as the spine from which most local streets branch.
West of the town centre the road network becomes sparse, following the folds of Cebu's interior hills and leaving wide pale areas that give the map room to breathe.

Koteā ko Compostela
For people from Compostela, or anyone with ties to Cebu's eastern coast, this map keeps a familiar shoreline close at hand. It is a quiet reminder of a home town, a family origin or a stretch of island road, reduced to lines that still feel recognisable.
You can set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name or a date that matters, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, framed if you like.
