Te mapa
Copperas Cove sits in the hill country of Central Texas, west of Killeen, where the land starts to rise and roll. US Highway 190 runs through the city east to west, and on a map most of the town lies along it, with residential streets curving around low hills and cul-de-sacs reaching into the edges.
The city's growth is tied to the neighbouring Fort Cavazos, formerly Fort Hood, one of the largest military installations in the United States. Many residents are service members, veterans and their families, and the base's large open area bounds the city on one side.
A Copperas Cove map poster shows a typical Texan layout: a strong highway corridor, curving subdivisions and open land at the edges. In black and white, the contrast between the straight highway and the looping residential streets gives the composition a clear, easy structure.
The highway crosses the city east to west, lined with commercial strips. It is the backbone of the map and the line most residents use daily.
Neighbourhoods with looping streets and cul-de-sacs spread over the rolling ground, adding soft, flowing shapes around the highway.
Next to the city, the Fort Cavazos reservation appears as broad open ground, a large empty field on the poster that frames the built-up area.

Many people pass through Copperas Cove during a military posting, and a map of the town becomes a record of that chapter of family life. It also suits long-time residents who know every loop and cul-de-sac.
Add a unit, a family name or the dates of a posting in the title and subtitle, and set the coordinates to your home. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
