Te mapa
Cranberry Township lies in Butler County, north of Pittsburgh, and from above it is a textbook example of American suburban growth. Instead of a grid, the map shows looping residential streets, cul-de-sacs, office parks and shopping centres, all set on the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania.
The township's position explains its shape. Interstate 79 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike meet here, and their interchange is one of the most prominent features on the map. Commercial areas cluster around it, and residential subdivisions spread outward along winding collector roads.
Streams and wooded strips follow the valleys between neighbourhoods, leaving green corridors across the township. A Cranberry Township map poster turns this modern layout into an unusually graphic design: curves, loops and highway ramps arranged across a hilly landscape.
The meeting of I-79 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike creates a large, sweeping interchange, the strongest and most recognisable shape on the map.
Residential subdivisions are laid out in loops and dead-end courts, forming rounded clusters that look almost like leaves or branches.
Wooded stream valleys run between developments, leaving open ribbons that separate neighbourhoods and soften the busy road network.
