Dampit Map Poster & Print

Dampit is a town in the southern part of Malang Regency, East Java, in hilly country between the Malang plateau and the south coast. The terrain is uneven, and the town's streets follow it, gathering along the main road and branching off into lanes that bend around slopes and small valleys.

The area is known for coffee, mainly robusta, grown on smallholdings and plantations across the surrounding hills. On a map, the land around the town shows as a fine network of farm tracks and scattered hamlets rather than open fields, with rivers cutting narrow valleys through the slopes.

The great volcanic massif of Semeru rises to the east, and the whole region is shaped by volcanic soils and steep ground. A Dampit map poster shows a working hill town: a main street, a market centre and a spreading web of roads leading out to the villages and gardens.
