Te mapa
Dasmariñas lies in the province of Cavite, south of Metro Manila, on land that rises gently from the coastal plain toward the uplands around Tagaytay. Its main structure is the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, which runs north to south through the city, with the town proper and a long line of commercial development gathered along it.
Over recent decades the city has grown quickly as a residential and industrial area for the capital region. Much of the map is taken up by subdivisions, each with its own internal pattern of streets, alongside industrial estates and university campuses, including De La Salle University–Dasmariñas.
A Dasmariñas map poster shows a city built from many distinct pieces. The highway forms a central spine, while subdivisions appear as self-contained street patterns, loops, grids and cul-de-sacs, fitted together across the landscape and separated by small creeks and patches of open land.
The main road runs through the city from north to south, forming the spine around which commerce and the town centre have grown.
Residential estates each carry their own street layout, creating a patchwork of loops and grids that gives the map a varied texture.
A large university campus appears as an open, landscaped area among the dense neighbourhoods, one of the city's defining institutions.

Koteā ko Dasmariñas
Dasmariñas is where many families have found their first home outside Manila, and a map of it records that step. Its patchwork of subdivisions makes an unexpectedly graphic image on a wall.
