Divnogorsk was built in the second half of the twentieth century for the workers of the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric station on the Yenisei, upstream from Krasnoyarsk. The dam, completed in the early 1970s, is one of the largest in Russia and appears on the ten-rouble banknote. Behind it, the Krasnoyarsk Reservoir stretches far to the south.
The town itself follows the left bank of the river as a narrow band. Streets run parallel to the water on the lower terraces, while roads climb into the hills behind in switchbacks and short curves. The Yenisei fills a wide part of the frame, and forested slopes enclose the rest, so the built-up area looks like a ribbon.
A Divnogorsk map poster appeals to people who grew up among its Soviet-era blocks, to engineers and admirers of hydroelectric works, and to travellers who stopped on the scenic road from Krasnoyarsk. Few towns show so plainly how a river and a single project decided their shape.
The wide river runs along the whole town, and the streets align with its bank. In every style, the water forms a broad, calm band across the poster.
Upstream stands the concrete barrier of the hydroelectric station that brought the town into being. On a wider view, the reservoir opens out behind it.
Behind the riverside terraces, roads wind up the taiga-covered slopes. Their curves contrast with the straight, river-parallel streets below.

Koteā ko Divnogorsk
Towns built around one project carry a strong sense of identity. A Divnogorsk print lets former residents and their families keep the riverbank, the terraces and the dam in view, wherever they live now.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be edited, including in Russian. Blueprint suits the engineering story especially well, alongside Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Sand. HD files cost $9 and have no watermark.
