Duke University began as Trinity College and took its current name in 1924, supported by the Duke family endowment. It sits in Durham, North Carolina, and is known for its Gothic Revival West Campus, dominated by the tall tower of Duke Chapel. The poster centres on West Campus and its surroundings.
On a map, the university appears as a series of connected quadrangles arranged around the chapel, with curving roads encircling them. To the south lie the Sarah P.
