Te mapa
Edavilangu is in the Thrissur district of Kerala, near Kodungallur, on the narrow coastal strip between the Arabian Sea and the inland backwaters. It is a good example of how Kerala settles the land: few sharp edges between town and village, and a continuous spread of houses and gardens along a network of roads.
From above, the main road running north to south along the coast forms the clearest line, and smaller lanes branch from it towards the sea on one side and the water inland on the other. The street pattern is irregular and dense, following old plot boundaries and footpaths rather than any planned grid.
Water is never far away on this part of the coast, and on the map the shoreline and inland waterways frame the settlement on both sides. An Edavilangu map poster keeps things simple: the coastal road, the branching lanes and the sea, a quiet and honest portrait of a place that many families call home.
The main road runs parallel to the coast and carries most of the settlement's structure, with homes and small shops lining both sides.
Narrow lanes fan out from the main road in an irregular pattern, a fine, organic texture that fills the print with detail.
The Arabian Sea lies on one side and inland waterways on the other, giving the settlement a natural frame on the map.

Koteā ko Edavilangu
For families from Edavilangu living elsewhere, in the Gulf, in other Indian cities or further away, a map of home is a small, daily connection. The dense lanes and nearby coast make a print that feels personal rather than generic.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family house name or a year, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download all six sizes for $9, or order a printed poster.
