Te mapa
Ede lies on the western edge of the Veluwe, the large wooded ridge of Gelderland, where the higher sandy ground slopes down into the Gelderse Vallei. On a map the setting is unmistakable: streets are densest in the centre and toward the valley side, while to the north and east they give way to forest paths and open heath.
For much of the twentieth century Ede was known as a garrison town, with large barracks complexes on its edge. Several of those sites have since been redeveloped as housing, and their layouts are visible as distinct planned areas. The railway crosses the town from east to west, with Ede-Wageningen station also serving the university town to the south.
The municipality reaches deep into the Veluwe, taking in Otterlo and the Kröller-Müller Museum inside the Hoge Veluwe National Park. An Ede map poster centres on the town itself, but its edges carry the woodland and heath that define the setting, including the Ginkelse Heide just east of town, a landing zone during the 1944 Battle of Arnhem.
To the north and east the street network dissolves into forest tracks and heathland, creating a soft, finely textured edge on the poster.
Redeveloped military sites appear as distinct planned districts, their regular layouts standing apart from the older village streets around them.
The line through Ede-Wageningen station crosses the town in a steady east–west stroke, separating the centre from the southern neighbourhoods.

Koteā ko Ede
Ede is home to commuters, students from nearby Wageningen and families who value having the woods on their doorstep. Its map balances town and nature, which makes it a natural choice for a hallway, study or living room.
Set a title and subtitle, add a date such as a moving-in year, and edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files or order a printed poster, framed if preferred.
