Te mapa
El Dabaa lies on Egypt's northern Mediterranean coast in Matruh Governorate, west of Alexandria. On a map, it follows the pattern of this coastline: a settlement strung along the coastal highway. The sea is on one side and the flat Western Desert on the other. The shoreline is smooth, and pale beaches run for long distances.
The town has become widely known as the site of Egypt's first nuclear power plant, which is being built on the coast nearby. Resort developments have also spread along this part of the north coast. On a wider map, they appear as dense clusters of small streets and pools set against the open shore.
An El Dabaa map poster shows the simplicity of this landscape: a long coastline, a straight road, and the town and developments set along it. The composition is mostly horizontal and open. The quiet geometry works well on a monochrome print.
The Mediterranean shore runs in a long, gentle line across the map, drawing a clean boundary between the town and the open sea.
The main road along Egypt's north coast passes through El Dabaa, and the town's streets are organised on either side of it.
South of the road, the Western Desert stretches away almost unmarked, giving the print wide areas of white space.

Koteā ko El Dabaa
El Dabaa means home to local families, work to people involved in the coast's new projects, and summers to many others. A map of this shoreline makes an understated reminder of that connection.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a name or a date. Then pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
