Emirdağ Map Poster & Print

Emirdağ is a district town in Afyonkarahisar Province, on the high plateau of western Central Anatolia. It takes its name from the Emir Mountains nearby. The town is also known for its long ties with Belgium: since the 1960s, many families from Emirdağ have emigrated there, especially to Brussels, and those links are still strong today.

On the map, the town forms a compact core of dense, irregular streets, surrounded by a looser layer of newer blocks. Roads lead out across broad, open farmland toward villages and neighbouring districts, and the higher ground of the mountains rises to one side.

An Emirdağ map poster connects two places for many families: the streets of the home town and a life built abroad. The composition is simple, with a dense centre, radiating roads and a lot of open space.

01

Dense old core

The centre is a close tangle of short, irregular streets. It is the oldest part of town, and on paper it shows the densest texture.

02

Radiating roads

Main roads leave the town in several directions across the plateau. They connect Emirdağ with its villages and give the map a clear, star-like structure.

03

Upland setting

Open farmland stretches around the town, with the Emir Mountains on the horizon. This leaves generous space around the compact street pattern.
