Te mapa
Futtsu stretches along the western coast of the Bōsō Peninsula in Chiba, facing Tokyo Bay. Its most distinctive shape is Cape Futtsu, a narrow sandspit that curves out into the bay toward Kanagawa across the water. Here the bay reaches one of its narrowest points. From above, the spit looks like a finger drawn into the sea, with the town's streets gathered along the coast behind it.
South of the town centre, the land rises into hills, and the coastline grows rockier toward Mount Nokogiri. The mountain is known for its old quarry cliffs and for the temple of Nihon-ji, with its large carved Buddha. Off the tip of the cape, small artificial islands built as coastal forts in the Meiji era still stand in the water.
A Futtsu map poster shows that meeting of sand, sea and hills in a single frame. The spit, the fort islands and the curving shoreline make an unusually graphic composition, while the town's streets follow the narrow strip between water and slope. It is a map about the edge of the bay as much as about the town itself.

Small man-made islands off the tip of the cape, built in the Meiji era to defend the bay, appear as isolated dots in the water.
Toward Mount Nokogiri the land steepens, and roads start to wind along the coast and into valleys. The street pattern turns from flat grid to looser lines.

Koteā ko Futtsu
Futtsu is a favourite with people who remember beach days, shell gathering or sunsets over the bay with Mount Fuji in the distance. The spit makes a memorable, almost abstract print for a hallway or a seaside home.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates line, for example with a family trip date. Five styles, including Blueprint and Sand, suit the coastal theme. Files come in six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF.
