Te mapa
Fujisawa lies on the Shonan coast of Kanagawa Prefecture, southwest of Yokohama, facing Sagami Bay. Its map runs from a long sandy shoreline in the south through dense residential districts and rail corridors to rolling hills in the north. The city grew as a post town on the old Tōkaidō road and later as a residential suburb for Tokyo and Yokohama.
Its most recognisable feature is Enoshima, a small wooded island linked to the mainland by a bridge, with shrines, lookout points and a lighthouse tower. The Enoden railway winds along the coast toward Kamakura, and on clear days Mount Fuji rises across the bay. Inland, Keio University's Shonan Fujisawa Campus occupies a hillside site.
A Fujisawa map poster shows the city's clear north-to-south progression. The beach makes a smooth curve along the bottom, Enoshima sits just offshore like a full stop, the Enoden line threads through the coastal streets, and dense neighbourhoods and rail lines fill the land above.

A continuous sandy shoreline curves along Sagami Bay, forming a smooth southern edge that contrasts with the dense streets behind it.
Several railway lines, including the Enoden, cut through the city, their long curves linking the coast with inland stations and Tokyo beyond.

Koteā ko Fujisawa
Fujisawa is a place of surfing weekends, summer evenings on the beach and daily commutes into Tokyo, and many who live there feel strongly about it. A map of the coast and Enoshima holds all of that quietly.
