Te mapa
Gadag sits in the heart of northern Karnataka, on the dry, level uplands of the Deccan. It has long been a railway junction, and on the map the tracks are among the strongest features, running in several directions and slicing the town into distinct sectors. Between them lies a compact old centre of close lanes and market streets, with newer residential areas spreading outward.
The town is known for its stone temples from the Chalukya period, including the Trikuteshwara complex, and the nearby village of Lakkundi holds dozens more carved shrines. Gadag is also remembered as a centre of Kannada literature and music, associated with the poet Kumaravyasa and with the Hindustani classical musicians of the region.
A Gadag map poster offers a clear, uncluttered image: rail lines crossing near the centre, the older quarter holding them together, and roads reaching out across the plain toward surrounding villages. Because the land is flat, nothing distorts the pattern, and the result has a calm, almost diagrammatic quality that works well in modern interiors.
Tracks enter from several directions and meet near the town, drawing long straight lines across the map and dividing it into clearly defined neighbourhoods.
The Trikuteshwara temple complex sits within the older part of town, surrounded by close streets that reflect centuries of settlement around the shrine.
Beyond the built-up area, rural roads radiate over flat farmland, thin lines that lead toward surrounding villages and give the edges of the poster space to breathe.

Koteā ko Gadag
Gadag is a place people carry with them, whether through family, music or the temples of the Chalukya era. A map of its streets and rail lines offers a subtle reminder of home, with a structure that stays recognisable to anyone who knows the town.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line to record a name, a date or a dedication, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the precise rail geometry.
