Te mapa
Guemar is in El Oued province, in the Souf region of north-eastern Algeria, a landscape of sand dunes and oases. On a map, the town is a compact cluster of streets surrounded by open sand. Around it, small circular hollows hold date palm groves, which were traditionally planted below the dune level to reach the groundwater.
These sunken gardens, known as ghouts, create a distinctive dotted pattern around the town. The streets in the centre are close together and run in short, irregular sections. Wider roads lead out across the desert toward El Oued and other towns of the Souf.
Guemar is also the site of the airport serving El Oued. A Guemar map poster is a strong choice for anyone drawn to desert geography: a dense town, rings of palm hollows and wide open sand, all shown in precise black-and-white detail.
Date palm groves planted in sunken hollows among the dunes show up as small rounded shapes, a pattern unique to the oases of the Souf.
The town's streets are packed closely together, forming a dense core that stands out sharply against the empty sand around it.
A few straight roads cross the dunes to link Guemar with El Oued and the airport, drawing long, clean lines across the open landscape.

Koteā ko Guemar
A map of Guemar suits people from the Souf, and anyone who finds beauty in how a desert town is arranged. The contrast between dense streets and open sand makes the print especially striking in the Sand and Noir styles.
You can edit the title, subtitle and coordinates to mark a family home or a special date. Choose from five styles and download a watermark-free 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF in six sizes for $9, or order a printed poster.
