Gürpınar Map Poster & Print
Gürpınar is on the northern shore of the Sea of Marmara, in the western part of Istanbul. It was once a separate municipality and is now part of Beylikdüzü district. From above, the coastline is the strongest feature. Streets run down toward the water, and residential blocks fill the slope behind.
Western Istanbul grew quickly in recent decades, and Gürpınar's map shows the result. Denser housing blocks stand next to lower, older streets, and large new developments sit alongside smaller plots. Main roads run parallel to the coast, joining the neighbourhood to the rest of the city in both directions.
