Te mapa
Guéyo is a town in the Bas-Sassandra area of southwestern Ivory Coast, a region of forest, plantations and small farms. This is cocoa country, one of the main growing areas of the world's largest cocoa producer. On the map, the town appears as a modest cluster of streets surrounded by largely open, green land.
The street pattern is simple and practical. Roads lead in from surrounding villages and plantations, and the town grew up along them, with a loose grid of lanes forming between the main routes. Beyond the edge, tracks run out into the countryside, and the lack of dense development gives the town a clear, readable outline.
A Guéyo map poster reflects a place shaped by agriculture and travel between farms and markets. The lines are few, so each road stands out, and the open space around the town carries as much meaning as the streets. It is a calm, honest image of a rural town in one of West Africa's key farming regions.
The principal road through town carries most of the traffic and trade, with homes and shops lining it and a network of smaller lanes branching away on each side.
The land around Guéyo is part of southwestern Ivory Coast's cocoa belt, and the open farmland surrounding the town shows up as wide, quiet space on the map.
Between the main routes, the town's lanes form a loose grid of blocks, a practical layout typical of market towns across the region.
