Te mapa
Havana grew around one of the finest natural harbours in the Caribbean, a bay reached through a narrow channel guarded by the Morro fortress. On the map the bay spreads inland in a lobed shape, and Habana Vieja, the colonial old town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, occupies the peninsula on its western side, a close-knit grid of plazas and short streets.
West of the old town, Centro Habana packs its blocks tightly together, and then Vedado opens into a more regular grid of broad, tree-lined streets laid out in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The Malecón, a seawall promenade roughly eight kilometres long, binds these districts to the coast, curving gently along the Florida Straits.
The Almendares River marks the line between Vedado and Miramar, where Quinta Avenida continues westward as a wide, straight boulevard. Across the harbour, the fortresses of La Cabaña and El Morro hold the headland. A Havana map poster shows all of this in one frame: bay, old quarter, gridded suburbs and the sweep of the sea.

The seawall follows the coast from the old town to Vedado, a long, gentle curve that separates dense city blocks from open water.
Numbered and lettered streets form one of the most regular patterns in the city, a planned district of wide avenues west of Centro Habana.

Koteā ko Havana
Havana has a pull that outlasts any trip, and for Cuban families abroad it is simply home. A map lets you keep the city in its full shape, from the harbour to the western suburbs, without relying on the usual photographs.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand pairs well with the warm stone of the old town. Download the HD files for $9, or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
