Te mapa
Inazawa lies in western Aichi Prefecture on the Nōbi Plain, one of the largest flat areas in Japan, between Nagoya and Ichinomiya. From above it looks less like a single centre than a mosaic. Residential streets, small factories, rice fields and plant nurseries interlock across the level ground, and railway lines and roads draw long straight strokes through the pattern.
The city is known for the Hadaka Matsuri, the naked festival held each winter at Owari Ōkunitama Shrine. Thousands of men in loincloths push toward a chosen man who is said to carry away misfortune. Inazawa is also known for the ginkgo trees of the Sobue district, grown for their nuts, and for a long tradition of horticulture and nursery stock that shows in its patchwork of fields.
An Inazawa map poster captures the finely divided texture of the Japanese plain: narrow lanes, small blocks, irrigation channels and rail corridors, all drawn with the same precision. With no hills or coast, the composition relies on this intricate pattern. It rewards close looking, especially at larger print sizes where every lane stays legible.
JR and Meitetsu lines cross the city toward Nagoya. Their long straight lines anchor the station neighbourhoods and structure the streets around them.
The precinct of Owari Ōkunitama Shrine forms a distinct open space among the streets. It is the setting for the city's famous winter festival.
Small fields, nurseries and ginkgo groves fill the gaps between neighbourhoods. This fine grid of parcels and channels is typical of the Nōbi Plain.

Koteā ko Inazawa
Inazawa is home to commuters, growers and festival regulars, and many people with roots here now live elsewhere in Japan or abroad. A detailed map preserves the particular weave of streets and fields that makes the city recognisable to those who know it.
You can change the title and subtitle to mark a festival year, a family name or a move, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Then download the $9 HD set or order a framed matte print.
