Te mapa
Irugūr lies just east of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, on the busy industrial corridor that runs toward Tiruppur. On the map, the railway is the defining feature. Irugur is a junction where lines divide, and the tracks cut through the neighbourhoods in long, gently curving strokes that stand out from everything else.
Around the rails, the town is a dense mix of houses, small workshops and mills, with lanes packed close together and a few wider roads connecting to the city. Farther out, the pattern loosens into plots and open ground. An Irugūr map poster shows the moment where a growing suburb meets the railway and the farmland of the Kongu region.
This part of Tamil Nadu is known for textiles and engineering, and that working character comes through in the layout: practical streets, industrial footprints and transport lines taking up most of the space. It is a map about movement and making things.
Rail lines divide at Irugur, and their long curving tracks slice across the street pattern, forming the strongest graphic element on the poster.
Roads toward Coimbatore and Tiruppur connect the town to one of the state's major textile and engineering belts.
Tightly packed residential lanes fill the spaces between the main routes, giving the drawing a fine, busy texture.
