Itamaraju Map Poster & Print

Itamaraju is a municipality in the extreme south of Bahia, inland from the stretch of coast where Portuguese navigators first reached Brazil. The town serves a wide agricultural area, and its layout shows that role: a central grid of streets around the commercial core, with neighbourhoods extending outward along the main roads.

The land around the town is hilly and green, historically covered by Atlantic Forest and now largely given over to farms and pasture. A river passes near the centre, and the BR-101 highway, the main north–south route along this part of Brazil, runs close by.

An Itamaraju map poster captures a working town in its setting. The regular blocks of the centre give way to curving streets that follow the terrain, and the surrounding roads fade into countryside. It is a clear and honest image of a place many families call home.

01

Central grid

The commercial heart is laid out in a fairly regular grid of blocks, the most orderly and densely drawn part of the map.

02

Riverside edge

A river running near the town adds a flowing line to the composition, breaking the regular street pattern with a natural curve.

03

Highway corridor

The main regional highway passes nearby, a long line that connects the town to the rest of Bahia and anchors the map's structure.
