Te mapa
São Mateus sits in the far north of Espírito Santo, where the São Mateus River, also called the Cricaré, loops through low coastal land before it reaches the Atlantic. On a map the town is a compact grid pressed against the riverbank. Newer neighbourhoods spread inland along the main roads, and the water draws a soft, curling line across the page.
It is one of the older settlements on Brazil's coast and dates to the sixteenth century. Its historic port district along the river recalls a time when boats carried goods up and down the Cricaré. To the east, the beach district of Guriri faces the ocean and adds a long, straight coastline to the composition.
A São Mateus map poster brings these pieces together: the winding river, the old riverside streets, the looser suburban blocks and the long edge of the sea. In black and white, the contrast between curving water and straight roads becomes the main subject. It suits a quiet wall in a hallway, study or bedroom.
The river swings through São Mateus in broad curves and separates the town from the lowlands. It gives the map one strong line that everything else is arranged around.
Along the riverbank, the historic port area forms the tightest cluster of streets. This small, dense patch marks where the town began before it spread onto higher ground.
East of the centre, the Guriri beach district lines the Atlantic with a straight shore and a grid of holiday streets. It gives the town a clean edge on the sea side.

Koteā ko São Mateus
For people from São Mateus, or anyone who spent summers at Guriri, the map keeps the river and the coast in view from somewhere else. It works as a gift for a move, a graduation or a family with roots in northern Espírito Santo.
You can add your own title, subtitle and a date or coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9 and come in six print sizes, or you can order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
