Te mapa
Jainagar lies in Madhubani district in northern Bihar, right beside the border with Nepal. It is known as the Indian end of the cross-border railway to Janakpur in Nepal, a line originally built as narrow gauge that was converted to broad gauge and reopened to passengers in 2022. The Kamala river flows nearby on its way south across the plains.
On the map, Jainagar is a compact town of busy streets gathered around the station and market, with roads extending toward the border and the rest of the district. The surrounding Mithila plain is flat and intensively farmed, dotted with villages and ponds, and the rendering shows it as open ground broken by small settlements and the course of the river.
A Jainagar map poster appeals to families from the area, to travellers who crossed into Nepal by rail and to anyone drawn to the Mithila region, famous for its painting tradition. As a composition, the railway line and river give the small town a strong, readable structure against the level plain.
Tracks converge on Jainagar station, from where the line continues toward Janakpur in Nepal, one of the defining strokes on the map.
The Kamala flows near the town, its course drawn as a meandering band that contrasts with the straighter roads and the railway.
Around Jainagar, flat farmland dotted with villages spreads in every direction, leaving open space that frames the town and hints at the border just to the north.

For people from Madhubani district, Jainagar is a familiar crossing point and market town. A map poster keeps its streets, station and river together on one sheet, in a style simple enough for any room.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or the date of a journey to Janakpur, and choose from five styles. Prints on matte paper ship from partners in more than thirty countries, and a free preview is available first.
