Te mapa
Jalostotitlán is in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, a high, rolling plateau northeast of Guadalajara known for ranching, dairy farming and a strong Catholic tradition. The town lies on the main road through the region, between larger centres such as Tepatitlán and San Juan de los Lagos.
From above, the centre follows the Spanish colonial plan. A main square sits beside the parish church, and a regular grid of blocks extends from it in every direction. Toward the edges the grid loosens, and a small river and several arroyos cut across the landscape. Beyond them, fields and ranch land spread out in large, even parcels.
A Jalostotitlán map poster shows that structure clearly. The plaza is the anchor, the grid radiates outward, and the watercourses and highway introduce a few strong diagonals. In black and white, the pattern of blocks has an almost textile regularity. It is typical of Los Altos towns and still distinctly its own.

A river and seasonal arroyos cut through the town's edges. They add irregular lines that break the grid and give the map depth.
Around the town, ranch land and fields divide the plateau into large rectangles. They make a calm, open frame for the dense centre.

Koteā ko Jalostotitlán
Many families in the United States and across Mexico trace their roots to Los Altos. A map of Jalostotitlán is a way of honouring that origin, and of seeing the square and streets that fill so many family stories.
Personalise the title, add names or a date as the subtitle, and edit the coordinates line if you like. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
