Te mapa
Kabbasin, also written Qabasin, lies in the Aleppo Governorate of northern Syria, north-east of Aleppo and close to the town of al-Bab. The land around it is broad and mostly level. Agricultural plains are divided into fields, and the town's built-up area stands out clearly against them. From above, the town reads as a single, fairly compact settlement.
Its streets make a close-knit pattern of blocks around a centre. Roads leave it in several directions towards neighbouring towns and villages. Beyond the edge of town, the map is mostly field boundaries and scattered rural tracks. The linework thins quickly, which gives the town a clear outline on the page.
A Kabbasin map poster is a quiet record of a place many people know as home, including families who now live far away. It doesn't try to tell the town's story in detail. It keeps the shape of its streets, the roads to its neighbours and the open land around it, and those are the things people remember.
The built-up area forms a dense cluster of blocks and lanes. It is the busiest part of the poster and clearly set apart from the surrounding countryside.
Several roads run outwards from the town across the plain, connecting it with al-Bab and the wider Aleppo countryside. They give the composition its main directions.
Farmland surrounds the town on all sides, shown as open space and faint tracks. That openness frames the town and keeps the design uncluttered.
