Kachisi is a town in the western highlands of Oromia, west of Addis Ababa. It lies in a region of hills and river valleys, where the plateau starts to break up into deeper terrain. On a map, it appears as a compact cluster of streets, with a few roads leading out into the surrounding countryside.
