Te mapa
Kafue lies south of Lusaka, on the banks of the river that gives it its name. The Kafue River is one of Zambia's main waterways, and on the map it is the dominant feature, a wide line that separates the town from the land to the south. The main road toward the Zimbabwe border crosses the river here by bridge.
The town developed as an industrial centre, and its layout includes both residential districts and larger plots once set aside for factories. Downstream, the river passes through the Kafue Gorge, where hydroelectric power stations supply much of the country's electricity. Upstream, the river spreads across the wide flats that are well known for their wetlands and wildlife.
A Kafue map poster shows a town defined by its crossing point. The streets gather on the northern bank, while the river curves through the frame and the bridge links the two sides. The result is a composition with a clear natural line, well suited to a minimal black-and-white print.
The broad river curves past the town and dominates the map, creating a strong natural line that divides the built-up area from the land beyond.
The main road south from Lusaka crosses the river at Kafue, making the bridge a key link toward the Zimbabwe border and a focal point on the print.
Larger industrial plots sit alongside residential areas, giving the street pattern a mix of broad blocks and finer neighbourhood lanes.

Koteā ko Kafue
Kafue is familiar to many Zambians as a place of work, family and river crossings. A map of it can be personalised with a name, a date or a short line in the subtitle, making it a meaningful gift for anyone with roots in the town.
The river stands out clearly in Blueprint and Noir, while Classic black and white keeps a clean, graphic look. Paper and Sand bring a softer, warmer tone. Whichever style you choose, the coordinates line can be adjusted to mark a specific place.
