Te mapa
Mufulira is one of the main towns of Zambia's Copperbelt Province, close to the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It grew up around a large underground copper mine and a smelter, and mining has shaped both the town's economy and its layout. On a map, the industrial area takes up a large section next to the residential districts.
Like other Copperbelt towns, Mufulira was built with planned housing areas. Their streets follow regular, often curved layouts, divided by green spaces and main roads. Newer residential areas spread out farther, and beyond the town the land is open bush with roads leading to Kitwe, Chingola and the border.
A Mufulira map poster shows a town defined by both industry and planning. It includes the mine and smelter area, the organised residential neighbourhoods, and the open land around the edges. For families with generations of connection to the Copperbelt, it is a clear and personal map of home.
The copper works take up a large area near the town. They appear as a solid industrial block beside the residential streets.
The residential districts follow organised layouts, with crescents, loops and green spaces between them, as in other Copperbelt towns.
Roads leave the town through open bush toward the nearby Congolese border and the other Copperbelt towns.

Koteā ko Mufulira
Many Zambian families trace their roots to Mufulira and its mine. For them, the town's map is part of their family history, and it makes a meaningful gift for a parent or grandparent.
You can add a title, a subtitle with a name or year, and the coordinates. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Classic black & white gives the clearest view of the town's layout.
