Te mapa
Kalaa Srira lies a short distance west of Sousse, in the Tunisian Sahel, the coastal region known for its olive cultivation. From above it looks like a compact town with an older, denser centre and newer neighbourhoods spreading outward, while beyond them the land is divided into regular plots of orchards and fields.
Its closeness to Sousse shapes the map. Roads link it quickly to the city and the coast, and the edges of the two urban areas draw nearer as both grow. Yet Kalaa Srira keeps its own identity as a separate municipality, with a centre and a street pattern distinct from those of the larger city nearby.
A Kalaa Srira map poster shows that relationship in a simple, legible form. The dense core and the looser suburbs give the design depth, and the gridded olive country around them adds a soft texture, making it a fitting choice for anyone whose family roots are in the Sahel.
The land around the town is divided into regular plots, many planted with olives, forming a quiet grid of field boundaries that frames the built-up area.
The centre has a closer, less regular street pattern than the outskirts, appearing as a darker knot of lines within the lighter spread of newer blocks.
Roads run east to Sousse and the coast, drawing strong lines that connect the town to the city and to the Mediterranean shore a few kilometres away.

Koteā ko Kalaa Srira
Kalaa Srira is home to many families, including those who have since moved to Tunis or abroad. A map is a quiet way to keep that connection visible, and the town's modest scale makes the poster personal in a way that a map of a large capital rarely is.
