Te mapa
Karabulak sits on the open plain of Ingushetia, north of the first ridges of the Greater Caucasus. From above, it reads as a set of mostly straight streets and low-rise housing, with private houses and gardens filling large rectangular plots. The area has a long association with oil production, and industrial sites still mark parts of the map.
The town received its town status only in the 1990s, and its growth has brought it close to Nazran and to Magas, the republic's capital. On a map the three places read as a loosely connected urban area, stitched together by main roads running across the plain, with farmland filling the gaps that remain between them.
A Karabulak map poster shows a town still taking shape, with new streets pushing into the fields. In black and white, the orderly residential blocks, the small watercourses crossing the plain and the long roads toward the mountains make a clear, balanced composition that rewards a close look at larger sizes.
Much of the town consists of private houses on generous plots, which form a regular, finely divided texture across the residential districts.
The flat ground north of the Caucasus gives the street network room to run straight, while the mountains lie just beyond the southern edge of the frame.
Main roads connect Karabulak with Nazran, Magas and the rest of the republic, drawing strong lines through a patchwork of fields.

Koteā ko Karabulak
Ingush families are closely tied to their home towns wherever they live. A map of Karabulak, with the name of a street or a family in the subtitle, becomes a personal object rather than a souvenir.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line are all editable, and five styles are available, including Noir for a dark interior and Paper for a softer tone. Download the HD files or order a framed print.
