Te mapa
Kīhei stretches along the southwest coast of Maui, facing Maʻalaea Bay and the channel towards Kahoʻolawe. It is shaped by the coastline. From above, the town forms a long ribbon, several miles from north to south but only a short distance inland. Two main roads run parallel to the shore along most of its length.
South Kīhei Road follows the beach, lined with condominiums, parks and beach access points such as the Kamaole Beach Parks. Further up the slope, the Piʻilani Highway carries through traffic. Behind the town, the land rises steadily towards Haleakalā. This side of the island is dry, and the open ground shows as blank space on the map.
A Kīhei map poster captures that unusual linear form. The smooth Pacific shoreline, the parallel roads and the short streets connecting them make a composition that is long, calm and distinctly Hawaiian. It reads especially well on a tall or wide print.
The coastal road follows the shoreline for miles. It is lined with parks, condominiums and beach access, and it gives the poster a clear seaward line.
Running parallel further inland, the highway carries through traffic along the south shore. Together with the coastal road it frames the town.
A long, gentle coastline with bays and beaches marks the town's western edge. The ocean becomes a wide, open field on the map.

Koteā ko Kīhei
Kīhei is a place people return to year after year, whether they live there or visit for the beaches and sunsets. A map of the coast is a lasting reminder of an island stay, a honeymoon or a family home.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the date of a trip or a wedding. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download the HD files or order a print.
