Te mapa
Koga lies on the coast of Fukuoka Prefecture, north of Fukuoka city, and its map runs in long bands. The shoreline of the Genkai Sea forms one edge, followed inland by coastal pine woods, then a strip of residential streets and the main rail line, and finally low wooded hills. Roads and tracks run mostly parallel to the coast, with shorter streets linking them at right angles.
The city developed largely as a residential area for people working in Fukuoka, and the JR Kagoshima Main Line provides a direct connection into the city centre. It remains a quiet, largely suburban place, with housing estates, schools and small shopping streets rather than large landmarks, and farmland still visible toward the hills.
A Koga map poster is about rhythm and proportion: the smooth sweep of the coastline, the steady line of the railway, and the finely textured housing areas between them. It is an understated composition that works well for anyone who has lived here and commuted into Fukuoka, or who simply knows this stretch of coast.
A long, gently curving shoreline borders the city to the west, forming a clean edge between the sea and the built-up area behind it.
The main railway line runs through Koga roughly parallel to the coast, a steady, straight stroke that organises the city's layout.
Toward the east, the housing thins out and gives way to low, wooded hills and farmland, where roads become fewer and more winding.

Koteā ko Koga
Koga is the kind of place people call home for years without ever writing about it: a quiet street, a school, a train into Fukuoka. A map makes that everyday geography feel worth framing.
Set the title and subtitle as you like, in English or with a Japanese name in romanised form, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
