Te mapa
Koh Kong, officially the town of Khemarak Phoumin, is the capital of Koh Kong Province in the far southwest of Cambodia. It sits on the east bank of a wide estuary where the Kah Bpow River meets the Gulf of Thailand, and its compact grid of streets runs along the waterfront, with the river forming the town's western edge.
Across the estuary, the Koh Kong Bridge carries the road toward the Cham Yeam border crossing with Thailand, a few kilometres away. On a Koh Kong map poster, the long bridge is the strongest single line, spanning a broad expanse of water between the town grid and the mangrove shore opposite.
Behind the town rise the Cardamom Mountains, one of the largest remaining rainforest areas in mainland Southeast Asia, and the coast around the estuary is threaded with mangrove channels, including the Peam Krasop Wildlife Sanctuary to the south. At wider zooms, the map dissolves into water, islands and forested slopes.
Streets are laid out in a small, regular grid along the estuary, with the waterfront road following the gentle curve of the riverbank.
The long bridge crosses the wide estuary toward the Thai border, a single clean line over open water and a focal point of the composition.
South of town, narrow waterways weave through mangrove forest toward the Gulf of Thailand, forming delicate, branching patterns on the map.

Koteā ko Koh Kong
Koh Kong is a place travellers remember: a first stop after crossing from Thailand, the base for trips into the Cardamoms or along the mangroves. For people from the province, the map is a portrait of home framed by water.
Personalise the title and subtitle, keep or change the coordinates line, and choose from five styles. Blueprint suits the estuary particularly well, with Classic black & white, Noir, Paper and Sand also available in all six print sizes.
