Te mapa
Phu Quoc is Vietnam's largest island and lies in the Gulf of Thailand close to the Cambodian coast. On a map it has a distinctive outline. It is broad and rounded in the north and tapers to a narrow point in the south, with a string of smaller islands trailing off its southern tip. Roads are few and follow the coast and the island's long spine.
Duong Dong, the main town, sits on the west coast at the mouth of a small river. Most of the island's resorts have gathered along the long sweep of beach to its south. Much of the northern half is protected as a national park, which appears on the poster as a wide, quiet space crossed by only a handful of tracks.
The island is known for its fish sauce, its pepper farms, and a cable car that crosses the sea from the southern tip to Hon Thom island. A Phu Quoc map poster is less about dense streets and more about shape: coastline, river inlets and the scatter of the An Thoi islands against open water.
Below the island's tapering tip lies the An Thoi archipelago, a cluster of small islands that break up the sea and give the lower part of the poster a scattered, delicate texture.
The main town gathers around the point where a narrow river reaches the west coast. Here the island's street network is at its densest and forms a small, tight grid.
South of Duong Dong, a gently curving beach runs for many kilometres along the west coast. It is drawn as a single clean line between the land and the Gulf of Thailand.

Koteā ko Phu Quoc
Travellers often choose island maps because they last longer than photographs: the outline of a place where a holiday, honeymoon or long stay happened. Phu Quoc's clear, compact shape works especially well at larger sizes, where the islands and coastline have room to breathe.
