Te mapa
Koipādi lies in the far north of Kerala, in Kasaragod district, close to the Arabian Sea. This part of the Malabar coast is low and green, cut by rivers and backwaters that run parallel to the shore before they find an outlet. On a map, the settlement appears as a loose network of lanes rather than a dense urban core.
Houses here tend to sit within their own plots of coconut palms, so the street pattern stays open, with roads threading between compounds and fields. The coastal railway and the main highway along this part of Kerala run roughly north to south, giving the region a clear direction that the smaller lanes branch away from.
A Koipādi map poster shows a place defined by water on several sides. The coastline, the inland channels and the thin roads between them create a composition of long lines and soft edges. It is a quiet, specific print for anyone from the area or with family on this stretch of the coast.
The western side of the map is shaped by the coastline, a long, gently curving line that gives the print a strong boundary.
Inland, narrow water channels run near the coast, creating thin, winding shapes that separate strips of land from one another.
Rather than city blocks, the streets form a loose web of lanes linking homes and gardens, which leaves generous white space across the design.

Koteā ko Koipādi
For people who have moved away from Kasaragod to the Gulf, to other Indian cities or further, a map of home can be a steady presence on the wall, one that shows the shape of the coast and the lanes they know.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, for instance with a family name or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
