Te mapa
From above, Kos town sits on the flat northeastern corner of its island. The streets fan out from a rounded harbour, where the Castle of the Knights guards the entrance, and the town then gives way to a long coastal strip. Across a narrow stretch of water, the Turkish coast near Bodrum is close enough to show on a wide frame.
Inside the town, the street pattern mixes periods. Excavated ancient areas, including the agora and sections of the Roman town, leave open blocks among the modern streets. The oldest part of the grid stays tight near the harbour. Further out, the streets loosen into straighter residential lanes and the roads that run along the island.
Kos is closely tied to Hippocrates, and the plane tree named after him stands near the castle. A Kos map poster brings together harbour, fortress and ruins in one plan: a small Aegean town where many layers of history share the same few streets.
A rounded natural harbour sits at the centre of the town. Its quays and breakwater draw a clean curve that anchors the whole composition.
The fortress of the Knights of Saint John stands between the harbour and the sea. Its angular outer walls and moat show up clearly as a hard-edged shape on the map.
The open archaeological zones of the agora and the Roman town appear as empty blocks among dense streets. It is an unusual pause in the grid.

Koteā ko Kos
For people who have spent summers on the island, the harbour curve and the castle outline are instantly familiar. The poster keeps the place in the plain shape of its streets and shoreline, without holiday colours.
You can add a title, a subtitle such as a trip date and the coordinates line, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. It is available as a $9 HD digital file or as a printed poster.
