Te mapa
Kottūru lies in the Vijayanagara district of Karnataka, on the dry, open plateau of the northern interior. From above, the town appears as a dense older core of narrow streets surrounded by newer, more regular residential areas, with roads running out across flat farmland toward neighbouring towns and villages.
Kottūru is known across the region for its principal temple and the large chariot festival held there each year, which brings pilgrims from far beyond the town. The streets around the temple form the busiest and most intricate part of the map, while the outskirts open into fields and tanks typical of the Deccan landscape.
A Kottūru map poster shows the relationship between the sacred centre and the wider town that has grown around it. In black and white, the concentrated old streets and the straighter roads of the surroundings form a clear, balanced composition, a quiet portrait of a place defined by devotion, trade and the land.
The streets around the main temple form the densest part of the map, the heart of the town and the focus of the annual chariot festival.
Residential areas beyond the old core follow straighter, more regular layouts, clearly distinguishable from the tighter historic streets.
Around the town, open fields and scattered water tanks fill the edges of the poster, crossed by long rural roads leading across the Deccan plain.

For families connected to Kottūru and devotees who return for the festival, a map of the town is a meaningful keepsake. It fits a home in Bengaluru or abroad as easily as one in the district itself.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a festival year. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the $9 HD files in six sizes or order a printed matte poster.
