Te mapa
Kyaikto lies in northern Mon State, on the flat coastal plain along the Gulf of Mottama, at the foot of the eastern hills. The town is laid out along the main road and railway between Bago and Mawlamyine. On a map its streets form a long, modest grid between lowland fields to the west and rising ground to the east.
It is best known as the gateway to Kyaiktiyo, the Golden Rock, a gilded boulder balanced at the edge of a cliff with a small pagoda on top. Pilgrims set out from Kyaikto toward the hills, usually changing at Kinpun for the steep final climb, and the town has long been a stopping point on that journey.
A Kyaikto map poster shows the everyday town rather than the famous rock: a network of streets and temple grounds, the straight lines of road and rail, and paddy land spreading toward the sea. It is a calm, practical map of a place that many people pass through and some call home.
The main road and the railway to Mawlamyine run side by side through town. Together they form a strong spine, and most streets are arranged along it.
West of the town, rice fields stretch toward the Gulf of Mottama and give the map an open, lightly lined edge.
Beyond the eastern streets the ground begins to rise. These are the first slopes of the hills that lead up to the Golden Rock.

Koteā ko Kyaikto
For families from Mon State, and for travellers who remember the journey to the Golden Rock, Kyaikto is where the trip turned from road to mountain. The map keeps that moment on the wall in a quiet, graphic form.
Write your own title, add a date or dedication in the subtitle, and keep or change the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand gives the plain a warm tone, and Noir makes a striking gift.
