Te mapa
Lake Forest lies in southern Orange County, stretching from the Interstate 5 corridor northeast toward the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains. From above it shows the classic pattern of planned Southern California suburbs: curving residential streets, loops and cul-de-sacs, organised between broad arterial roads.
The city takes its name from two artificial lakes built in the 1970s within its planned communities, which appear as small smooth shapes surrounded by homes. Further northeast, districts such as Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills climb into rougher terrain, and the map ends in open wilderness parkland and canyon country.
Lake Forest was known as El Toro before it incorporated in 1991 and adopted its current name. The area includes Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park on its hilly edge. A Lake Forest map poster captures the flowing pattern of suburban streets as they meet the foothills.
Small artificial lakes sit within residential neighbourhoods, their smooth outlines giving the city its name and the map a distinctive detail.
Loops and cul-de-sacs form flowing patterns between straight arterial roads, typical of planned Southern California communities.
To the northeast, streets give way to canyons and wilderness parkland, where the map becomes open and quiet.

Koteā ko Lake Forest
Lake Forest is often where families put down roots, and a map of the city can mark a first house, a neighbourhood or a childhood spent between the lakes and the hills.
Personalise the poster with a title, subtitle and coordinates, then choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The curving streets look elegant in Classic, while Sand suits the sunlit hillsides.
