Te mapa
LaSalle is a town in Essex County, Ontario, directly southwest of Windsor, and its western edge is formed by the Detroit River. Across the water lies Michigan, but closer in sits Fighting Island, a long, low island that belongs to LaSalle and fills much of the river channel beside the town. The shoreline gives the map a strong natural boundary on one side.
Inland, the street pattern is mostly suburban: curving crescents, cul-de-sacs and loops of residential subdivisions built over recent decades, set between older concession roads that run in straight lines across the flat Essex County landscape. Turkey Creek and other drains wind through the town toward the river, and parks and sports fields add open patches to the fabric.
A LaSalle map poster balances these elements neatly. The river and island form a bold edge, the concession roads provide a quiet grid, and the looping subdivisions fill it with fine, rounded detail. The town has grown quickly as a residential community for the Windsor area, which means many people here have a first house, a first street or a new start to remember.
The town's western boundary follows the Detroit River, a wide, smooth channel that gives the map a clean edge and separates LaSalle from the American shore.
This long, flat island lies in the river just off the mainland and is part of the town, appearing on the map as a large pale shape set within the water.
Crescents and cul-de-sacs curl between the straight concession roads, giving residential LaSalle the rounded, repeating street pattern typical of newer Ontario suburbs seen from above.
