Highway 1 spine
The Transpeninsular Highway cuts straight through town, and almost every street connects back to it. This gives the map a clear central axis running roughly north to south.

Te mapa
Lázaro Cárdenas sits in the San Quintín Valley on the Pacific side of Baja California. From above, agriculture gives the settlement its shape. Federal Highway 1 runs through it as the main spine. The town's short blocks fan out from the highway, then give way to long rectangular fields, greenhouse rows and dirt access roads that run toward the coast.
The valley is one of the peninsula's best-known growing regions, sending tomatoes, berries and other produce to markets north of the border. You can see that economy on the map itself. The street pattern is loose and practical, with the densest blocks near the highway and a patchwork of irrigated parcels filling most of the surrounding frame.
A Lázaro Cárdenas map poster works best at a scale that includes both the town and its farmland. The contrast between tight blocks and open fields gives the composition its structure. To the west, the Pacific shoreline and the lagoons of San Quintín Bay add a soft, irregular border to an otherwise geometric drawing.
The Transpeninsular Highway cuts straight through town, and almost every street connects back to it. This gives the map a clear central axis running roughly north to south.
Beyond the built-up blocks, rectangular farm parcels and greenhouse rows create a fine, repeating texture that looks almost like graph paper in black and white.
To the west the land runs out toward open ocean and the sheltered lagoons of San Quintín Bay, giving the lower frame an organic outline drawn by water.
