Te mapa
Luckeesarai, also written Lakhisarai, is the headquarters of Lakhisarai district in Bihar. From above it sits on the flat alluvial plain south of the Ganges, with the Kiul River passing close by. The town's streets form an irregular web around a few main roads, and the surrounding land is a patchwork of small fields broken by villages and water channels.
Railways shape the area strongly. Kiul Junction, right beside the town, is an important meeting point on the Howrah–Delhi main line, and the tracks cut long straight lines through the otherwise organic street pattern. The area also has a long past: archaeological sites nearby have yielded Buddhist and Hindu remains from the early medieval period.
A Luckeesarai map poster lays out the town exactly as the plain presents it: the river, the rail lines and the network of streets between them. The absence of colour makes the straight railway geometry stand out against the looser pattern of lanes and fields, while the river adds a single gentle curve that ties the composition together.
The river runs past the town on its way toward the Ganges, adding a soft, winding line to the map that contrasts with the straight engineered edges of the railway.
Converging tracks near Kiul Junction draw several long, straight strokes across the frame, one of the most distinctive features of the town's layout from above.
Beyond the built-up area, the flat Gangetic plain opens into small fields and scattered settlements, giving the poster a finely textured, evenly spread outer border.

Koteā ko Luckeesarai
Many people from Lakhisarai have moved to Patna, Delhi or further afield for study and work. A map of the home town is a thoughtful gift for parents, or a reminder for anyone who once waited on the platform at Kiul.
Personalise the poster with a title, a subtitle such as a family name or year, and a coordinates line. Five styles are available, including Noir and Paper, and the $9 digital pack includes six sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF.
