Te mapa
Lund is one of the oldest towns in Sweden, founded around the end of the tenth century, and its centre still follows a medieval street plan. On a map the old town appears as a tight cluster of irregular streets around the Romanesque cathedral, with the green expanse of Lundagård beside it and university buildings spreading out from there.
Lund University, founded in 1666, shapes much of the city, from historic lecture halls and student nations to large modern campuses to the northeast. Further out, the research facilities MAX IV and the European Spallation Source have added new districts to the map. The city is also where Tetra Pak was founded, and where early work on Bluetooth was done at Ericsson.
A Lund map poster shows the contrast between the medieval core and the planned growth around it, with railway lines and ring roads tying everything together. It suits graduates, researchers and families, anyone for whom the city marks an important chapter, and it reads clearly at every print size.
The medieval streets around Lund Cathedral form the densest and most irregular part of the map, a small historic core that is easy to pick out.
The park beside the cathedral and the main university building sit together at the heart of the city, a green space surrounded by academic and old town streets.
Newer university and research areas extend to the northeast, where larger blocks, open land and the MAX IV and ESS sites create a very different pattern.

Koteā ko Lund
Many people spend a few formative years in Lund and remember it as a place of lectures, nations and long evenings in the old town. A map of the city is a quiet, lasting record of that time, whether you still live here or moved on long ago.
Add a title, a subtitle with your graduation year or student nation, and your own coordinates. Choose Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the files in six print sizes for $9 or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
