Te mapa
Maganja sits in Zambezia Province in central Mozambique, a district town of roughly eighteen thousand people on the low, flat country that runs toward the Indian Ocean. It is often known by its fuller name, Maganja da Costa, which points to its place in the coastal part of the province. From above, the settlement reads as a modest, contained cluster rather than a sprawling city.
On the map, the centre appears as a short run of intersecting streets, with a denser patch where the town's everyday life is concentrated. Beyond that core the lines thin out quickly. A few longer roads and tracks lead away toward neighbouring villages and the wider district, and much of the surrounding sheet stays pale, reflecting farmland, bush and scattered homesteads that leave little mark in street data.
That contrast is what gives a Maganja map poster its character. Instead of a full field of city blocks, the composition centres on a small, legible heart framed by generous open space. In black and white, the few roads that cross the frame carry real weight, and the town comes across as it is: a local centre for a largely rural stretch of Zambezia.
The streets gather into a small, readable core where most of the mapped detail sits, giving the poster a clear focal point at its centre.
A handful of longer roads and tracks leave the town in different directions, linking it to surrounding villages and drawing thin lines across the quiet parts of the frame.
Around the town, the flat country of coastal Zambezia shows up as wide, lightly marked space, which gives the design room to breathe and sets off the town at its centre.

Koteā ko Maganja
Maganja is the sort of place people carry with them: a hometown, a family district, or somewhere they lived or worked for a while. A map that shows its few streets and the open land around them is a quiet way to keep that connection on the wall, without needing a famous skyline to explain it.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a family name, a year or a date that matters. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download HD files for $9 in six print sizes, or order a printed poster on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
