Te mapa
Makhdumpur is in Jehanabad district in the Indian state of Bihar, on the flat, fertile plain south of the Ganges. On the map, it appears as a compact market town gathered around its main roads and railway station. A dense core of small plots and lanes quickly gives way to open fields and scattered villages.
The Patna to Gaya railway runs past the town in a straight line that cuts across the otherwise irregular pattern of farm paths and village clusters. Irrigation channels and small ponds dot the surroundings, and the landscape follows the seasons of the rice and wheat grown across this part of Bihar.
A short distance away rise the Barabar Hills, home to rock-cut caves from the Mauryan period, among the oldest surviving examples in India. A Makhdumpur map poster places the town within that wider landscape, where a modern railway settlement and some of the subcontinent's earliest monuments share the same corner of south Bihar.
The Patna to Gaya line passes through as a long straight stroke, the clearest single feature on the map and the town's main connection to the region.
Around the station and market, streets and buildings cluster tightly, forming a small, dense mass that stands out against the surrounding farmland.
Fields, ponds and small village clusters spread in every direction, creating a fine, scattered pattern that fills the poster with gentle detail.
